PROGRAMS

At Dragonfly Ranch, our programs are focused on helping adults with intellectual disabilities who have aged out of the school system continue learning and growing. We focus on everyday skills like hygiene, job readiness, safety, and socializing, while also encouraging fun hobbies and activities. Our goal is to create a welcoming space where everyone can build confidence, independence, and a stronger sense of belonging in the community.

Our Programs

Virtual Socialization Hour

This program creates an inclusive virtual space for young adults with IDD to connect and build relationships.

Socialization is vital in the IDD community because it strengthens confidence, communication skills, and a sense of belonging, helping individuals engage more fully in their broader communities.

When:Last Friday of each month

Together, we’ll discover the best ways we communicate and support one another. Whether someone prefers talking, using chat, reactions, visuals, or simply being present and enjoying the fun, everyone’s participation style is welcome.

Parents, family members, caregivers, and friends — please help us spread the word! If you know a young adult with intellectual or developmental disabilities who would enjoy building connections in a welcoming, supportive environment, we would love to have them join us.

This is a safe, inclusive space where everyone belongs.

Let’s get to know each other and start something wonderful together — we can’t wait to see you there!

Our Parent, Guardian, and Caregiver Virtual Support Group is a welcoming space created specifically for those supporting young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).

When: Second Monday of each month at 8pm

This group offers an opportunity to connect with others who understand the unique joys and challenges of this stage of life. Together, we share experiences, exchange resources, and provide encouragement in a supportive, judgment-free environment.

Whether you’re seeking guidance, community, or simply a place to be heard, you are not alone — we’re here to support one another every step of the way.

Job Readiness

Job readiness is a key step toward greater independence for adults with intellectual disabilities. Learning skills such as time management, responsibility, teamwork, and communication helps prepare individuals for meaningful opportunities in the workplace.

At Dragonfly Ranch, we partner with local businesses to provide volunteer experiences where participants can explore different types of work in a supportive environment. These opportunities not only allow individuals to discover what jobs they enjoy but also help us determine what level of support each person needs to be successful. By building these connections, we give our participants a chance to grow their confidence, showcase their abilities, and take steps toward employment and community involvement.

Let's work together!

If you’re a local business interested in opening your doors for volunteer opportunities, or a community member looking for services, we’d love to connect with you. Please reach out so we can share more about how we can work together!
